DESIS（社会创新与可持续设计）联盟，是由一群致力于通过设计推动社会创新和可持续发展的设计学校组成的国际网络。随着设计院校在以可持续为导向推广社会创新过程中发挥的作用获得越来越多关注，过去的七年中，DESIS联盟在质量和数量上都取得了进展。

今年的DESIS地图——由DESIS联盟的国际协调团队创建——是一次全球DESIS实验室代表性项目的巡礼和分析。DESIS地图展示了设计学校探索社会创新的各种可能性，因此将成为激发设计师和设计教育者灵感的资源。更重要的是，DESIS地图是社会创新与可持续设计的一个里程碑，它展现了设计项目的主要领域和途径，并为讨论社会创新设计的未来方向提供机会。

本次展览，由同济社会创新与可持续设计实验室（Tongji DESIS Lab）和DESIS联盟国际协调团队联合筹办，以真实可触的方式展示DESIS地图。基于地图的构架，DESIS实验室的46个项目围绕7个“行动主题”和10个“反思主题”来呈现。在空间上，46个项目被分为食物、关怀、制造、居住、衣物、场所营造及其他共七组内容，分别对应七个行动主题；同时，通过分别代表不同反思主题（社会创新产品、社会创新服务、建设基础设施、数字社会创新、创造收入、环境关怀、协同设计、设计表现、情境营造和设计理论与实践）的彩色线条相互连接。参与者既可以跟随空间分组（“行动主题”），也可以追踪色彩线索（“反思主题”），或是两者结合，来探索这46个项目。同济大学设计创意学院的5个项目将和DESIS地图一起展出。

: DESIS map and emerging thematic areas in design for social innovation

DESIS (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability) Network is an international network of design schools promoting design for social innovation and sustainability. With the growing attention on the role of design schools in fostering social innovation towards sustainable futures, DESIS Network has evolved qualitatively and quantitatively over the past seven years.

The DESIS map, created this year by DESIS Network’s international coordination team, is a collection and analysis of representative projects of DESIS labs around the world. This map is an inspiring resource for designers and design educators, as it provides a wide variety of social innovation projects carried out by design schools. More importantly, this map can serve as a milestone in design for social innovation and sustainability, as it gives an overview of the main areas and approaches of the design projects, and an opportunity to discuss future directions in design for social innovation.

This exhibition, organized by Tongji DESIS lab in collaboration with DESIS Network international coordination team, presents the DESIS map in a tangible way. Based on the conceptual structure of the DESIS map, 46 DESIS labs’ projects are exhibited according to 7 ‘themes for action’, and 10 ‘themes for reflection’. The 46 projects are spatially grouped by ‘themes for action’ (Food, Caring, Making, Housing, Clothing, Place-making, and others), and at the same time, linked by color lines representing ‘themes for reflection’ (Product for social innovation, Service for social innovation, Infrastructuring, Digital social innovation, Income generation, Environmental concern, Co-design, Design performance, Scenario building, Design theory & practice).

Visitors are invited to explore the 46 projects either by following the spatial grouping (‘themes for action’), or by following colors (‘themes for reflection’), or by both. Together with the DESIS map, 5 projects of College of Design & Innovation of Tongji university are exhibited.
