Crackdown on Violations of Summer Tutoring in Many Cities

Several regions in China have recently exposed a number of violations regarding summer tutoring.
These include Suining in Jiangsu, Yuncheng in Shanxi, Wenzhou in Zhejiang, and Harbin in Heilongjiang. In a special investigation conducted at Harbin No. 64 Middle School, they adopted a unit-based approach by conducting periodic checks on all teaching staff through various means such as WeChat, video calls, and phone calls to ensure that no one was overlooked.
The purpose of this measure is to supervise teachers and provide them with warning education, guiding them to uphold the professional ethical bottom line of being a teacher.

Meanwhile, the Education Bureau of Qichun County in Hubei Province has implemented an incentive-based reporting system to encourage people to provide clues. The bureau has set up a reporting hotline, and once the clues are verified, the first person to report anonymously will be rewarded with 10,000 yuan.
Severe accountability and measures will be taken against teachers involved in paid tutoring.
