我在海外说：为什么中国人不信任西方的自由民主？

这个问题很多外国人都在问，因为很多外国人，特别是没有来过中国，同时又被西方媒体灌输，觉得中国什么都不如西方，觉得自家的制度完美无缺。

我的回复如下：

The changes in Eastern Europe, especially the collapse of the former Soviet Union, have convinced the Chinese that China will become a second Soviet Union if it also accepts the European and American set.

Indeed, Western support for separatist forces in Xizang, Xinjiang and even Inner Mongolia over the last thirty years has reinforced the Chinese belief in this.

That is, the essence of the West's so-called democratisation of China is to keep China divided.

And the West's hostile measures against Russia have further convinced the Chinese that ah, the West is only trying to contain China in the name of democracy, not to help it develop.

In recent years, the US crackdown on Huawei and on Chinese high technology has reinforced the Chinese perception that the US and Europe do not want China to become a developed country.

And in 2019-2020, the double standards of the US and Europe in their attitude towards the demonstrations in Hong Kong, and their treatment of the marches in their own countries, have further disappointed the Chinese, who feel that the West has adopted double standards.

And in 2020, the popularity of covid19 has completely dashed Chinese expectations of the level of governance in so-called democratic countries. Governments in the West are largely helpless in the face of an epidemic. The 300,000 deaths in the United States and the fact that the top leaders even spoke of treating it with disinfectant made the Chinese look silly.

Previously, in the eyes of the Chinese, the West was medically advanced. Even when the epidemic first broke out in China, some people ran to the West just because they thought that the West would handle the epidemic better than China. It turned out to be the complete opposite.

Moreover, whenever there is a conflict between China and its neighbouring countries, the West does not even care whether the conflict is caused by China or not, it is all about blaming China. For example, in the Sino-Indian border dispute last year, the West was all for India at first, accusing China of invading India, but a few months later, the Indian Prime Minister admitted that China had not invaded India.

These are the issues that have convinced the Chinese that the West never considers Chinese interests, but tries to undermine them.

Meanwhile, the so-called Chinese democrats supported by Europe and the US have largely lost popular support in China. This is because these so-called pro-democracy elements have lost the trust of the Chinese people by shouting support for democracy while at the same time supporting secession.

All these, for a reason.

为什么很多中国人认为中国实行西式自由民主会更糟糕？

东欧的变化，特别是前苏联的崩溃，让中国人相信，如果中国也接受欧美那一套，就会成为第二个苏联。

而西方对俄罗斯的敌对措施，更让中国人相信啊，西方只是想以民主的名义遏制中国，而不是帮助中国发展。

近年来，美国对华为的打压，对中国高科技的打压，更强化了中国人的观念：美欧不希望中国成为发达国家。

而在2019-2020年，美欧对香港示威的态度，以及对待本国游行的双重标准，更让中国人失望，他们觉得西方采取了双重标准。

而到了2020年，covid19的流行已经彻底打破了中国人对所谓民主国家治理水平的期望。面对疫情，西方国家的政府基本无能为力。美国30万的死亡人数，最高领导人甚至说要用消毒剂治疗，这让中国人傻眼了。

此前，在中国人眼里，西方的医学是先进的。甚至在中国刚爆发疫情的时候，有些人跑到西方去，只是因为他们认为西方处理疫情会比中国好。结果却完全相反。

而且，每当中国与周边国家发生冲突时，西方根本不管冲突是否由中国引起，都是指责中国。比如去年的中印边界争端，西方国家一开始都是支持印度的，指责中国侵略印度，但几个月后，印度总理承认中国没有侵略印度。

这些问题让中国人相信，西方从不考虑中国的利益，而是试图损害中国的利益。

与此同时，欧美支持的所谓中国民主派在中国基本上失去了民众的支持。因为这些所谓的民主人士，一边高喊支持民主，一边又支持分裂，失去了中国人民的信任。

这些，都是有原因的。

徽剑感悟，在跟外国人，特别是欧美人交流中，我发现越来越多的人开始支持中国。毕竟外国人也不是白痴。大家都有头脑会思考的。看看一名东南亚人士的回复

今天我不再呼吁国家的民主，我呼吁自我完善。

中国人没有（西方式）民主，就会兴旺发达。新加坡人在没有（西方式）个人自由的情况下茁壮成长。他们选择不拥有（西方式）自由民主所带来的个人自由。他们拒绝这些!

这证明你不需要有权利对你的政府大喊大叫。现在的责任在于你。你能为你的国家做什么？
